Day 1: Depart for France
Depart for France on overnight flight from Philadelphia (PHL) to Paris CDG.

Day 2: Giverny & Caen
Morning arrival at Paris CDG airport. Meet your tour director and driver for transfer to Bayeux. En route, stop in Giverny to visit the former house of Claude Monet and his famous gardens. Travel to Normandy. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant. (D) Overnight: 2 nights at Caen Hotel Mercure Caen Centre Port de Plaisance or similar.

Day 3: Normandy Landing Beaches
Full day exploring Normandy\\\\\\\'s famous WWII sites. Visit the Bayeux Tapestry, St. Mere Eglise on the Cotentin Peninsula, the Ranger Memorial at Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach (subject to local conditions), and the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial (172.5 acres, 9,387 graves). (B)

Day 4: Mont St. Michel
Depart northwards to Mont St. Michel, rising from the sea on a mighty rock. Cross the causeway by shuttle, browse narrow streets, admire bay views, and lunch on your own in this charming town. Visit the 10th century Abbey. Afternoon hotel check-in followed by dinner. (B,D) Overnight: 1 night at Mont St. Michel Hotel Mercure or similar.

Day 5: Tours (Loire Valley)
Morning departure for the Loire Valley. En route, visit the Brittany American Cemetery de Montjoie-Saint-Martin. Afternoon visit to Tours, the largest city in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Explore the Châteauneuf area (Old Tours). Hotel check-in; evening at leisure. (B) Overnight: 2 nights at Tours Grand Hotel de Tours or similar.

Day 6: Loire Valley & Wine Tasting
Guided tour of the Royal Chateau d\\\\\\\'Amboise, associated with King François I and Leonardo da Vinci. Continue to a local winery for a wine tasting experience followed by lunch. (B,L)

Drive to the Palace of Versailles — visit the State Apartments, Royal Chapel, Hall of Mirrors, and Coronation Room; stroll through the legendary gardens.
